XMA seals office supplies framework deal...again

VAR will continue to be the sole supplier for consumables, as it has since 2007, under multimillion pound-Crown Office Suppliers framework agreement

VAR XMA has again sealed a deal to be the sole supplier of consumables to the government and wider public sector after winning a competitive tender process.

The multimillion-pound Crown Office Suppliers framework agreement, RM3723, will last for a minimum of two years.

XMA has been the incumbent supplier since 2007 under previous iterations of the agreement.

According to the government website, the Crown Office Supplies agreement focuses on the delivery of savings through standardisation and efficient logistics.

It will officially start next month, and will offer original manufacturer and remanufactured consumer products to eligible organisations and departments.

Andy Brown, managing director for consumables and print at XMA, said: "We are delighted to continue our work with Crown Commercial Service and the wider public sector through this prestigious agreement.

"We have spent over 10 years working with the government to improve our value and services, products, and how we can efficiently pass long-term savings to public sector bodies. I look forward to adding new customers to the extensive list of departments that already benefit from this keenly priced agreement."
