Exclusive Networks to assemble VAR quintet for Exabeam
VAD to be Exabeam's only distributor in UK as security intelligence vendor launches into channel
Exclusive Networks claims it has already lined up half a dozen partners to take on its latest vendor signing, security intelligence specialist Exabeam.
Exclusive Networks' UK country manager Graham Jones told CRN that the distributor was chosen because it had worked with employees at Exabeam when they were previously at other vendors.
Like all new products Exclusive takes on, Exabeam fitted snugly with Exclusive's CARM (cyber-attack, remediation and mitigation) mantra, Jones (pictured) said.
"So does it either fix or block cyber-attacks, and does it complement any of our existing vendors? Exabeam ticks both of these boxes," he said.
Exabeam's product Stateful User Tracking is designed to automatically create a complete timeline of every event and anomaly tied to an attack, and uses that timeline to assess risk and automate incident response tasks.
The Californian vendor has offices in Gloucestershire and Singapore, and does all business through the channel.
Exclusive Networks has initally been charged with finding five to six reseller partners for Exabeam.
"It's about focus. It is a very focused market and we like our VARs to invest," said Jones. "We will be working with the resellers on their end-user marketing."
He expects to have recruited the required number of resellers by the end of Q2 as "we have lined them all up, it is more a case of activating them."
The vendor also has plans to expand into the rest of Europe with Exclusive Networks as its distributor, with Jones confirming that four other countries have already signed up.
