UKFast targets £40m turnover in 2016

Hosting firm saw revenue increase 19 per cent in 2015

UKFast recorded revenue of £34.3m in 2015 and has now set its sights on hitting the £40m barrier this year.

The hosting firm's 2015 revenue marks a 19 per cent increase on 2014 and CEO Lawrence Jones (pictured) said the firm is set for further expansion this year.

"The focus for the second half of the year is on creating an unbeatable service and an unrivalled offering," he said.

"Of course it's important that we create profit because we're going to build new datacentres and invest heavily in R&D, plus we're continuously expanding the team.

"It's clear that the model is working because we've welcomed some incredible brands to UKFast this year. Last year we were delighted to secure a contract with our biggest-ever client and this year we've beaten that figure three times over and are working on even bigger deals again."

Jones added that over 60 per cent of the firm's growth last year came from existing customers growing their businesses and developing their solutions with UKFast.

UKFast is now targeting EBITDA of £19m in 2016.
