e92plus boosts visibility ability with Netwrix signing

Security distributor says third vendor signing this month will complement existing vendors such as Forcepoint and Trend

e92plus has made its third vendor signing this month with the addition of enterprise visibility vendor Netwrix.

Netwrix's software allows end users to monitor changes made on the network by end users.

The addition comes after e92plus signed up forensic security vendor Guidance and DDoS player NSFOCUS earlier this month.

Neil Langridge marketing director at e92 said Netwrix is complementary to the existing vendor portfolio and presents partners with the opportunity to bolt on a further solution to the ones already offered through the distributor.

"Where Guidance, Forcepoint and Trend Micro focus on the data itself, Netwrix looks at the changes on the actual network itself, in terms of what users are doing - whether it's moving data, making changes to server settings, or updating records," he said.

"The opportunity for partners is it further enables them to be able to take a strong consultative approach to their customers and have as wide a conversation as possible.

"When they're talking to their customers about GDPR and what their strategy is around data security it's about us having a great range of options for those partners to match up against their clients' priorities."

Before signing with e92plus Netwrix operated a single-tier channel strategy, but e92plus will now become the vendor's sole distributor across the UK and Ireland.

Peter Smith, regional director of sales for Europe at Netwrix, said the vendor partnered with e92plus to continue its European expansion.

"Having spent the past couple of years preparing the ground by onboarding some large resellers, blue chip customers and building up our internal resources we have today selected a top distribution partner to help us accelerate the growth of Netwrix in the UK," he said.

"In our view e92plus has the right enablement strategy, technical resource and complementary skills to help us recruit the right resellers and rapidly scale up the number of prospective customers that are introduced to the Netwrix Auditor platform."
