Servium eyes £30m sales in three years

VAR aiming for over 60 per cent growth in three years

Servium is aiming to grow to £30m revenues in the next three years, up over 60 per cent from its current figure.

The VAR, which has been trading for seven years, is set to hit the £18m sales mark this year. Managing director Paul Barlow said that the £30m target - which is a 66 per cent annual increase from its 2016 revenues - will be met.

"Certainly with the growth rates we have seen and the recruitment and growth plans we have, we will meet those targets," he said.

Servium is on the lookout for between six and eight new account managers by the end of next year, to help it reach its targets.

"That is very roughly a 30 per cent increase. It will help us enable the reach we want to create. We have a very strong platform with our ERP and CRM systems and we have a very strong marketing message around our value proposition. So now we need to scale it and get the message out there to our customers."

Barlow added that the important thing to focus on with its growth aspirations is to make sure there are no "growing pains".

"In three years we want our headcount to grow to circa 45," he said. "As we scale the sales function we will make sure to scale the back office as well. We want consistent growth as opposed to fits and starts."

The VAR is hunting for account managers and senior account managers, who will be based in either its Cheshire or Surrey offices.

"They have to be customer focused, hardworking, able to work in the team, and want to work for a company that looks after its employees," he added.
