Intel Security follows suit and drops Quadsys
Intel Security joins Kaspersky, Sophos and Barracuda in confirming reseller axe
Intel Security is the latest vendor to confirm it has cut ties with disgraced security reseller Quadsys.
Five Quadsys employees, including three directors, were earlier this month found guilty of hacking the email account of a rival firm's owner.
An Intel Security spokesperson today confirmed to CRN that the vendor "no longer works with Quadsys".
The news comes just two days after Barracuda Networks said in a statement that Quadsys had been dropped following the convictions.
Chris Ross, international vice president at Barracuda, said: "We are a business that is committed to the highest level of transparency and integrity and ensuring our customers and partners value their collaboration with us.
"For this reason we terminated our business relationship with Quadsys after the conviction."
Barracuda and Intel Security follow Kaspersky, which ended its relationship with Quadsys last month, and Sophos which dropped the reseller following the conviction.
Documents published on Companies House earlier this month show that the three directors involved in the court case have all had their appointments as directors at Quadsys terminated.
Quadsys had not responded to CRN' s requests for comment at the time of publication.
