CSC makes 'strategic investment' in eBECS
Deal for undisclosed amount will see MSP become CSC's channel delivery partner for Microsoft Dynamics offerings across the UK, Saudi Arabia and the US
IT services giant CSC has made what is calls a "strategic investment" in Microsoft partner eBECS.
Under the deal, financial details of which were not disclosed, UK-headquartered eBECS will become CSC's channel delivery partner for Microsoft Dynamics business solutions across the UK, the US and Saudi Arabia.
The MSP will also be licensed as an exclusive delivery partner for UXC Eclipse, the global Microsoft practice for CSC. Both firms claim the deal will extend the reach of the CSC Microsoft practice across the three regions and other nearby markets.
Jim Smith, executive vice president and general manager of global business services at CSC, said: "We look forward to establishing this strong partnership with the eBECS team. As a CSC Strategic Affiliate, eBECS will expand our leading Microsoft practice, giving us the local depth and global reach to service Microsoft-centric projects and our clients worldwide."
Sam Sammour, chairman of eBECS, said the two firms were a good fit.
"This is a truly exciting time for our customers, our team of professionals, and the Microsoft community. CSC's culture, client-centric approach and maturity as a Microsoft Dynamics partner makes CSC an ideal fit for eBECS," he said.
Kevin Hall, CEO of eBECS, added: "Our customers will have the certainty of a long- term business partner with the skills, experience and infrastructure to deliver a new era in customer service to the Microsoft ecosystem. Our partnership with CSC also extends our ability to offer our services worldwide as true global systems integrators."
The deal was also welcomed by Microsoft.
Frank Holland, CVP at Microsoft Business Solutions Sales and Partners, said: "eBECS is an example of how Dynamics partners can diversify and scale to deliver customer value across all parts of the Microsoft Intelligent Cloud. This announcement cements CSC, UXC Eclipse and eBECS' position as one of the largest and most influential alliances of Microsoft Business Solutions integrators in the world."
