Di Ventura exits Trustmarque amid rumours of a reunion with Haddow
Trustmarque was acquired by Capita last summer
Angelo Di Ventura has left Trustmarque, amid rumours he will soon jump into a new venture with the reseller's former boss Scott Haddow.
Di Ventura's last day at Trustmarque, which is now a Capita company, was 31 December, he confirmed to CRN. He had been sales and marketing director at the firm since 2009.
In a tweet leading up to his final official day, he said: "It's been an amazing and fantastically enjoyable journey. Thank you @Trustmarque for the memories. This is @therealadv signing off."
Trustmarque was acquired by Capita in June last year for £57m. At the time the reseller was owned by Liberata, which had snapped it up the year before following previous backer Dunedin pulling out amid an accounting issue.
Former Trustmarque managing director Scott Haddow left the reseller, which he had run since 2009, in October. His departure came shortly after he reassured staff of the underlying strength of the business following news of an immediate spending review, which came hot on the heels of a Capita profit warning.
Chatter in the channel has suggested Di Ventura and Haddow may soon reunite on another channel venture, but Di Ventura did not comment on the rumours.
