Sage scores X3 channel hat-trick
Accounting vendor unveils CLOUT, Atlas Cloud and BrightBridge as trio of new partners in enterprise push
Sage has announced a trio of new channel pacts to help it push into the enterprise space through its X3 ERP offering.
X3 was a hotspot for Sage in its fiscal 2016, with sales growing 18 per cent and paying customers rising 25 per cent.
Now the accounting software vendor has forged three new agreements as it looks to maintain this enterprise growth via the channel.
This includes a pact with BrightBridge, a Sage, Microsoft and Netsuite reseller formed in 2015 which is building a dedicated Sage X3 practice within its sales team.
Enterprise-focused partnerships have also been announced with MSP Atlas Cloud and CLOUT, which will offer X3 alongside its existing portfolio of cloud-based business applications including Salesforce, Kimble and Fairsail.
These alliance come after the vendor used its Sage Summit in Chicago last year to announce the extension of the Sage partner programme, launch its Sage Marketplace and Sage Partner Community and introduce a new rewards programme.
Sage's X3 sales in the UK & Ireland rose 17 per cent last year, which it said was both due to new customer acquisitions and migrations and implementations of the customer journey map.
David Watts, Sage UK & Ireland vice president for Enterprise, said: "Over the last 12 months, we've really underlined our commitment to working with larger enterprises and embracing smart partnerships that contribute to making our X3 business management solution more beneficial and appealing to enterprise businesses.
"It's great that the initiatives we've put in place have proven successful in supporting such significant new relationships - CLOUT, Atlas Cloud and BrightBridge each have a wealth of enterprise experience along with services, features and deployment options that will complement Sage's own offering in order to give all types of enterprises the best possible experience of working with us from the outset."
