Wi-Fi vendor opens new HQ is Manchester as well as hub in Bracknell and office in Texas
Manchester-based vendor Purple has moved to a bigger headquarters as part of its expansion plans.
Purple received an investment of £5.4m last year which it using to increase its global headcount by over 100, triggering the move to a bigger premises in Oldham.
The Wi-Fi specialist, whose solution is designed to generate real-time analytics and marketing for venues and businesses that want to engage with visitors and understand the use of physical spaces - had previously been based in Ashton-under-Lyne for four years.
The new headquarters comes at the same time as the launch of a UK hub in Bracknell and a new office opening in Texas last week - giving the vendor a footprint in the UK, the US, Spain, Chile, Singapore and Australia.
Gavin Wheeldon, CEO at Purple, said: "Purple has experienced unbelievable growth over the last few years and this move to a bigger and better headquarters allows us to continue building momentum.
"I'm sure the team will love the new office in Oldham, it not only offers staff a lot more space but the move marks a dynamic new chapter for Purple."
Purple announced a high-profile appointment as part of its recruitment drive last month with Richard Roberts joining after 10 years at Cisco where he was most recently managing director for UK and Ireland partners.
Roberts said at the time that he would be kick-starting a heavy partner recruitment drive across the UK and Europe.
