Ex-HP boss Nick Wilson returns to UK to run CSC
HPE completed 'spin-merger' of services arm with CSC last summer
HP's former UK boss Nick Wilson is returning from down under to run CSC, with which HPE completed a "spin-merger" of its Enterprise Services business last summer.
Wilson ran HP - before it split - in the UK for four years until late 2013, when he moved to run its Australia and New Zealand business.
A CSC filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was published this week, including details of its new senior leadership teams, which were determined after it brought in advisers to help them form the new-look company, which now includes HPE's Enterprise Services arm.
"The leadership selections being announced today draw from both companies, and leaders have been chosen based on criteria such as experience, performance, leadership qualities and cultural fit," said the filing. "This is an important milestone in establishing our new company."
Wilson will become senior vice president of CSC's UKI business, which will include the UK, Ireland and Israel.
Prior to joining HP in 2009, Wilson ran CSC's EMEA outsourcing business for two years.
TechMarketView chairman Richard Holway described Wilson as "clearly eminently qualified to do the job".
