Nick Thurlow returns to NetApp as UK boss
Thurlow spent three years at Arrow after leaving NetApp, but now returns
NetApp veteran Nick Thurlow has returned to the firm to become its UK boss, after spending three years at Arrow.
Thurlow (pictured) joined NetApp in 2000 and held various EMEA sales leadership roles, before heading off to Arrow in 2013. He ran the distributor's UK business and then most recently its north west Europe unit, until last June.
In an announcement this morning, NetApp said Thurlow is making a comeback at the firm, becoming its managing director for the UK and Ireland from Monday (30 January).
He replaces Elliot Howard, who had held the role for two years. NetApp said Howard is leaving to "pursue other career opportunities".
Thurlow will be charged with accelerating sales and strengthening the partner network in the region, as well as "driving operational efficiencies" in its key markets.
NetApp's EMEA boss Alexander Wallner welcomed Thurlow back to NetApp and said he will be a "powerful advocate for our customers and partners".
Matthew Wood, group sales director at VAR Concorde, welcomed the appointment.
"Nick is an established channel player and he understands how to support partners," he said.
