Danwood and SCC among winners of £1.2bn print framework

Crescent Purchasing Consortium framework to last until 2019

A handful of resellers and vendors, including SCC, Insight, Misco and XMA have won a place on a massive framework for printing and associated devices.

The Crescent Purchasing Consortium's Multifunctional Devices and Associated Print Services and Supplies framework went live this month, and according to the tender documents, could be worth up to £1.2bn over its lifetime. It is expected to run until the end of 2017, with the option to continue for another year thereafter.

The CPC is a buying group comprising more than 4,000 members which have 55 frameworks from which they can procure items.

It claims that the Multifunctional Devices and Associated Print Services and Supplies framework offers "the fullest choice of branded machines to cover any variation of requirements for a multifunctional and reprographic device", adding that "all types of managed print service requirements" are also covered.
