Carbon Black signs up Arrow for UK partner recruitment drive
Carbon Black looks to expand UK partner base in 2017
Security vendor Carbon Black has signed up Arrow ECS as it looks to kick-start its partner recruitment drive in the UK.
Carbon Black CTO Mike Viscuso told CRN earlier this month that the vendor is looking to expand its UK partner base, having investing in its UK operation throughout 2016.
Carbon Black says the new distribution agreement with Arrow will help bring its security products into the mass market.
"The market wants prevention and is rapidly shifting away from traditional AV," said Carbon Black's vice president of worldwide channels Ken Hammond. "There is currently a huge demand from customers for a leading next-generation antivirus solution.
"By combining [Carbon Black's next-generation antivirus solution] CB Defence with Arrow's vast network, Carbon Black is greatly increasing its global footprint, providing high margins for resellers, and continuing to stay at the cutting edge of keeping businesses protected from cyber attacks."
The partnership will see Carbon Black's full range of security products available to Arrow's Global network of partners.
Arrow joins Exclusive Networks as one of Carbon Black's two UK distributors.
Shannon McWilliams, head of Arrow's security practice, added: "With the proliferation of enterprise devices and the Internet of Things, it's no secret that the market is looking for robust end-point security solutions.
"We are excited to collaborate with Carbon Black on bringing Next-Gen Antivirus to Arrow's marketplace of security resellers and helping our reseller ecosystem solve increasingly sophisticated enterprise threats."
