Mayflex launches new Scotland facility

New base houses training, meeting and demonstration facilities

Distributor Mayflex has opened a new training, meeting and demonstration facility in Scotland.

The facility at Maxim Business Park in Eurocentral, 12 miles outside of Glasgow, will be fully operational next month and will house Mayflex's third M-Tech suite for demonstrating the distributors range of products.

The new facility comes after Mayflex expanded its business development team in Scotland and the north east of England.

Sean Donaldson, director of sales for the infrastructure range of products, said: "We have recently extended our Excel [Networking] BDM team in Scotland and the north east of England, so this addition to our sales armoury comes at an ideal time.

"There is nothing better than seeing products first-hand. I would encourage and welcome our partners to make the most of this new facility and to look out for open days and training events which will be scheduled from April onwards.

The demo suite will kitted out with products from Mayflex's vendor portfolio across IP security, and wired and wireless networking.

Tracey Culcutt, marketing manager at Mayflex, added: "As our field based teams, customer base and product offerings grow, the need for a resource such as this situated close to our customers has increased too.

"Our M-Tech demonstration areas in London and Birmingham are extremely popular, enabling customers to see first-hand the great solutions we offer.

"We expect this third M-Tech to be just as useful."
