NHS Digital starts bidding for £120m comms and networking framework

Between six and nine suppliers sought to deliver WAN, infrastructure and cybersecurity services

NHS Digital has opened up the tender process for a £120m framework that will see comms and networking services provided across a range of public sector bodies.

The Telecommunications Network Services framework will seek partners who can provide solutions in areas including network infrastructure, WAN infrastructure, and services for cybersecurity and information governance.

The contract notice for the four-year framework was published last week, with between six and nine suppliers expected to be selected.

The successful suppliers will provide services to public bodies in the Yorkshire and Humber region, including police, fire, health and local government organisations.

Suppliers looking to bid have to do so by 21 July, with intention to award notices set to be send out on 31 August.

Companies which are not public bodies can also use the framework, providing they are buying services to then supply to a public sector organisation.
