Arrow ECS appoints new UK boss

Distributor's UK business gets third boss in 18 months

Distributor Arrow ECS has appointed Mark McHale as its vice president for UK and Ireland.

McHale (pictured), who has worked at Arrow for over 30 years, has been bumped up from his previous position of managing director for datacentre solutions.

Arrow's UK business has been managed by its north-west Europe VP Jesper Trolle since last year, when he took over from the departing Nick Thurlow.

Speaking of his appointment, McHale said: "It's an exciting time to be part of the transformation of Arrow. I am pleased to be given the responsibility for growing this area of the ECS (Enterprise Computing Solutions) business and being part of its future.

"Arrow is the only global organisation that can provide our customers with an entire spectrum of solutions from components, intelligent systems, Enterprise Computing Solutions, digital, IoT through to sustainable solutions and beyond."

As part of the reshuffle, Trolle has been promoted to president of Arrow's Americas business.
