Audiovisual and print distributor Midwich has appointed a new head of technology.
Jenny Hicks, who joined Midwich in 2012, has been promoted from her previous role managing the distributor's technical specialists and support teams.
In her new role Hicks (pictured) will oversee Midwich's technical projects and assess emerging technology categories into which the distributor can expand.
"I am looking forward to exploring new technology markets, and utilising our global expertise to enhance the group's capabilities in all territories," said Hicks.
"The breadth of knowledge across our numerous businesses at group level is Midwich's greatest strength.
"Each business is unique in their specialist areas and I am excited to learn from them to drive future opportunities for Midwich."
Hicks joined Midwich as an IP video special in 2012 before moving to the role of technology manager the following year.
Midwich European director Tom Sumner added: "I am confident that Jenny's strong technical knowledge, coupled with a sound commercial awareness will be of great benefit to the wider international group, in addition to our UK operations."
