HP Inc pins hopes on 3D printing momentum in Europe
Vendor goes in hard on the emerging technology with expanded channel approach
HP Inc has hung its hat on the 3D printing market in Europe, making noise about an increased reseller community and further experience centres in the region.
The vendor's reseller programme now includes 15 new distribution partners across Europe, alongside over 30 partners across Europe providing HP's Multi Jet Fusion offering. New HP 3D printing partners in Europe include 3D Center, 3Dees Industries, 3D Ever, 3D Printer ApS, DaVinci Development A/S and RP Support.
It also announced that Henkel will become HP's first global reseller of its Jet Fusion 3D printing offering.
"We are thrilled by the initial response to HP's Multi Jet Fusion 3D solutions across Europe and to collaborate with our customers as they expand their uses and applications well beyond the boundaries of traditional additive manufacturing," said Emilio Juarez, head of EMEA 3D printing sales at HP Inc.
"Not only has our European customer and partner community grown quickly, we are already seeing existing customers make multiple purchases of HP Jet Fusion units for full-scale 3D production."
After earlier 2017 debuts in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, there are now over 25 3D printing reference and experience centres in Europe, with new ones in Austria, Denmark, Portugal and Sweden.
The centres apparently allow companies to engage with HP's Jet Fusion 3D printing offering in production-level scenarios, with testing and qualification of new 3D printing use cases enabled in controlled environments, the vendor claimed.
"HP is the industry leader in 3D printing and, as we expand our portfolio to include additive manufacturing services, we are thrilled to become the first global reseller for HP's Jet Fusion 3D Printing solutions," said Philipp Loosen, head of 3D printing at Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
"We are excited to deepen our collaboration with HP, develop even more innovative materials and 3D printing solutions for our customers, and increase the value for their end-use applications."
