Bytes opens seventh UK office
New Thames Valley Park office close to key allies such as Microsoft and Oracle
On the heels of announcing its takeover of fellow Microsoft reseller Phoenix Software, Bytes Software Services has cut the ribbon on its seventh UK office.
The Leatherhead-headquartered company has opened a base in Reading's Thames Valley Park, adding to its existing satellite offices in central Reading, Manchester, York and Watford.
The new office, on the doorstep of vendor partners including Microsoft and Oracle, will be manned by an entirely new team. It will be helmed by sales manager Spencer Rossiter.
Its opening, first trailed in June, comes just two weeks after Bytes announced it was creating a £400m-revenue giant by merging with York-based rival Phoenix.
Neil Murphy, group managing director at Bytes, said: "TVP in Reading is important to Bytes and it's proving to be an exciting place to attract experienced and talented staff," said. "Our new team will be able to further leverage our key partner relationships and serve more customers in this growing technology hub along the M4 corridor."
