Cisco introduces next-generation services for partners

AI-powered services will attract new customers and create opportunities for partners, vendor claims

Cisco has introduced a range of AI-powered services which it claims will unlock new services opportunities for partners and bring in new customers.

The vendor says the range of services "anticipates IT failures, mitigates risk, reduces maintenance costs, and assists organisations in attaining the necessary skills to transform their businesses".

The services will be split into two portfolios - Cisco Business Critical Services and Cisco High-value Services.

Chuck Robbins, CEO at Cisco, said: "Today's world is moving faster than ever, and to be successful, businesses must have the right blend of IT talent and services.

"By leveraging AI and machine learning to address critical IT issues, Cisco's new services offerings will truly help our customers free up time to focus on the growing IT talent gap, and remain competitive into the future."

The Business Critical services is a portfolio of subscription-based services that will deliver capabilities including analytics, automation and compliance, designed to reduce costs and accelerate business transformation.

The High-value Services portfolio focuses on technical support, specifically around software, solutions and networking.

Specifically commenting on the implications for partners, Cisco said: "Partners are vital to the Cisco Services business.

"Whether a Cisco partner has an existing Services practice or looking to build one, Cisco is enhancing its services portfolio to support its partners to deliver end-to-end customer solutions.

"With Business Critical and High-value Services, partners can unlock services opportunities that will deepen their relationships and attract new customers."
