£40m VAR unveils new board

Fresh approach for audiovisual player after management buyout

Saville Audio Visual has announced a new board line up following a management buyout earlier in the year.

Directors Ann Pickard, Colin Etchells and Graham Carling will accompany joint managing directors Andy Dyson and Colin Nixey in leading the York-based firm.

"This has been a year of major change for the business and with the addition of the new members, the board is fully committed to continuing the process of delivering a new and exciting Saville brand in 2018, maintaining our position as a leading provider of audiovisual services and solutions on a global scale," Dyson said.

Nixey added that: "The added experience the new directors bring in delivering excellent customer care, establishing deep industry relationships and the integration of advanced collaborative IT systems means we have the right foundations to take the business to new levels."

The audiovisual VAR, which started as a pharmacy in its native York in 1876, today claims to be the UK's largest specialist supplier for audiovisual, multimedia and videoconferencing technology, with 250 staff in 10 locations. Its turnover passed £41m last year.
