Salesforce partner raises $77m for global expansion
London-based firm sets sights on North American market
London-based Salesforce specialist CloudSense has raised $77m (£59m) in funding to accelerate its global expansion, particularly in North America.
Founded in 2009, CloudSense has grown to over 300 employees and now has eight offices globally.
The firm provides a SaaS commerce software platform built on Salesforce, as well as a range of services.
The funding adds to $10.5m in VC funding that CloudSense has raised over the last five years.
CloudSense CEO Richard Britton said: "We built CloudSense from the ground up to enable established enterprises to place customer centricity at the heart of their digital transformations, by helping businesses sell and deliver how, when and where their customers want to buy.
"For too long, enterprises and their customers have been restricted by the technological limitations of establishment software vendors, and disappointed by the unkept promises and lack of commitment to customer success by the emerging vendors.
"CloudSense is uniquely focused on building a new, better solution, that combines our leading enterprise-grade cloud products with an unyielding commitment to customer success across our entire organisation."
In its most recent financial report on Companies House, CloudSense reported a 53 per cent year-on-year revenue increase for the year ending 31 January, up to £21.3m.
