Computacenter set for 'a number of one-off' investments in 2018
Channel giant sees UK revenue up 15 per cent in Q4, but overshadowed by mainland Europe performance
Computacenter's UK revenue jumped 15 per cent in Q4 last year, but was outperformed by growth in mainland Europe.
While the UK's recovery continued, Computacenter's fourth-quarter revenue was up 20 per cent in Germany and 26 per cent in France.
In a pre-close trading update to the London Stock Exchange Computacenter said the revenue jump, which is currently unaudited, is indicative of "a year of great progress" for the channel giant.
The report also said that there will be "a number of one-off costs and investments" for Computacenter this year which will "hold back the enhancement of profitability".
Computacenter said it had the best fourth quarter of growth in the UK it has seen "for a number of years".
In full-year 2017 revenue jumped 17 per cent, or £548m, with services revenue up 11 per cent.
Computacenter will release its full results for 2017 in March.
