Which distributor has been given HPE's full offering in the UK?

Distribution giant joins Azlan TS, Ingram Micro and Westcoast

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has appointed Arrow ECS as a distributor in the UK, joining Azlan TS (formerly Avnet), Ingram Micro and Westcoast.

Arrow had previously been a distributor of SimpliVity, which HPE acquired a year ago, and Nimble, which it acquired last March. On 1 November HPE made Nimble available to all its UK distributors, but said it was in discussions with Arrow over if and how the relationship between the pair would continue in the UK.

The new agreement expands the partnership and is now spread across 10 EMEA countries.

HPE's UK channel boss Mark Armstrong said: "By adding Arrow to our UK HPE distribution channel, we are able to reach new customers looking to optimise their traditional IT infrastructure with secure, flexible solutions ready for the hybrid world."

The agreement will see Arrow continue to distribute Nimble and SimpliVity.

Arrow's director of solutions Dan Waters said: "HPE's portfolio further enables our customers to add incremental business across solution practices in business intelligence and analytics, data management, IoT, and next-generation infrastructure technologies.

"It fits seamlessly into our value-added model and the propositions of our reseller community.

"The collaboration will further expand the successful work we've already been doing with Nimble and SimpliVity."
