SPONSORED: Datto and Autotask to unveil MSP-focused giant at EMEA roadshows

Newly combined organisation will take to the road later this month

Datto and Autotask will offer the first glimpses into the newly combined organisation at a host of roadshows across EMEA over the next five months.

The pair announced their mega merger in October, creating an MSP-focused goliath and beginning a process that will see products and channel programmes brought together.

Kicking off in Bruges on 26 February, the pair will undertake a 17-stop tour across the length and breadth of EMEA, stretching as far north as Helsinki and as far south as Cape Town.

Mark Banfield, senior vice president at Autotask, said the shows will offer partners a first look at how the new organisation is taking shape, as well as an update on product roadmaps.

"We've been working hard since the merger was announced and there are now lots of plans that we can tell our MSP partners about," he said.

"We want to share our vision with partners and show them where we're investing heavily in EMEA.

"There are some quick wins out there for them so we want to show them where they can see the initial benefits from the merger, and also the long-term opportunities."

UK partners can catch shows in Dublin on 26 March, Edinburgh on 27 March, London on 29 March and Manchester on 24 April. More dates across EMEA are set to be added soon, Autotask said.

Partners will be given the opportunity to quiz executives from both Datto and Autotask, as well as network with fellow MSPs.

Banfield added: "Partners will see the value that we can provide MSPs moving forward, and our commitment to the market.

"They'll get some good insight into the future plans for the products.

"It will give Autotask partners that are new to Datto a first chance to look at the product portfolio, and vice versa."

With security becoming ever more important - even to partners that haven't traditionally focused on it - Datto and Autotask will take a deep dive into ransomware, and offer guidance on best practices and how partners can best protect their customers.

Tim Aura, managing director of Autotask and Datto partner Aura, said: "Datto and Autotask always ran fantastic events for MSPs individually, but these combined shows will be the best yet.

"Together I expect the First Look series of events to be of the highest quality and I look forward to the insights they'll provide around best practices, as well hearing about the future road map."
