Some 39 per cent of reseller and MSP respondents questioned in CRN research conducted exclusively for the event, which is sponsored by Oracle NetSuite, pinpointed decreasing margins as their number-one business challenge.
The research also probes to what extent firms in the channel have adopted cloud-based software in their own businesses, as well as their growth plans.
According to the study, which quizzed over 100 resellers, MSPs and other channel firms, some 69 per cent of respondents cited growing their existing business when asked to specify their plans for the year ahead. Far fewer picked launching new products and services (22 per cent) or international expansion (six per cent).
