Last year's merger of Autotask and Datto created a managed-services powerhouse with a broad portfolio spanning areas including networking, back-up and security.
In this Q&A, sponsored by Datto, CEO Austin McChord and SVP Mark Banfield talk CRN through the rationale behind the merger and the roadmap for the combined entity.
McChord claimed that Datto's portfolio to channel partners is now unparalleled.
"When I think about the newly combined Datto offering, it is incredibly broad," he said. "Datto now makes more products than I think anybody else who plays in the channel.
"[We] have an incredible breadth in the channel now that we have combined as one company."
The new company has four offices and over 2,000 MSP customers in the UK. Banfield said that these partners can expect to hear more about the Datto roadmap over the coming months.
"We're completely committed to the UK in a way that perhaps no other vendor is," he said.
"Certainly in terms of the scale and the resources that we have in the market here, I'd say that makes us the biggest committed vendors in this space. It's an exciting times for managed service providers in the UK."
