Which suppliers have won the most business on G-Cloud this year?
CRN analyses data published by CCS to establish the biggest winners on the G-Cloud framework so far this year
Capgemini and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have bagged the most business on G-Cloud in 2018 so far, while five resellers have raked in over £1m, according to CRN analysis of Q1 spending data.
Crown Commercial Service (CCS), G-Cloud's governing body, periodically publishes data detailing every transaction that has been put through the G-Cloud framework. Using this data CRN has established which firms have seen the most success through the public procurement vehicle this year.
The interactive table below shows both the top G-Cloud suppliers in general, and also the top G-Cloud suppliers of those featured in CRN's Top 250 VARs research.
Services giant Capgemini and AWS are the only two firms to have generated more than £10m through the framework, while large consulting firms including, Deloitte, Fujitsu and IBM all feature towards the top of the list
This is in line with CRN analysis conducted last month, which found that large services firms have dominated the framework's sales since its launch in 2012.
Of the firm's featured in CRN's Top 250 VARs research SCC has achieved the highest revenue through the framework this year, at £1.8m, ranking 32nd overall.
Softcat, meanwhile, has raked in £1.1m via G-Cloud - the 49th highest revenue overall this year. The reseller has also transacted one of the channel's largest G-Cloud deals in 2018 (see below).
Industry goliath Computacenter has pulled in £175,678 in sales this year, placing it 253rd overall.
As well as its huge G-Cloud revenues, AWS has also transacted the largest deal through the framework this year - a £3.4m cloud support deal with the Ministry of Justice.
The second, third and fourth largest deals, all around the £3m mark, were transacted by bespoke software firm Equal Experts, while HP raked in just under £2m in a deal with the Department of International Development.
In terms of the channel, the biggest single deals were transacted by SCC and Softcat.
