New head of EMEA channel at Pure Storage
Data storage vendor announces former Commvault executive as European channel director
Pure Storage today announced the appointment of Matthieu Brignone (pictured left) as the head of the company's EMEA channel and alliances.
Brignone replaces previous head of EMEA and Alliances, Ben Savage. He joins the company from Commvault, where he was the country manager for France. He also spent three years in the same position with HP Enterprise Security Products prior to that.
Michael Sotnick, VP of partners, services and business Development at Pure Storage welcomed the appointment.
"Matthieu brings considerable leadership experience to this position and I am looking forward to working with him as we continue to grow our partner relationships in the region. EMEA is an important market for Pure Storage, so our channel chief has a crucial role in developing and nurturing partners as part of the Pure family."
Pure Storage reported revenue of $256m (£190.4m) for its first quarter ending 20 May 2018, a 40 per cent increase on the same quarter last year.
