Cloud Distribution claims latest vendor signing solves pen testing riddle

Distributor signs Israeli start-up Pcysys

Cloud Distribution is aiming its latest vendor signing at resellers lacking the in-house resource to conduct multiple penetration tests.

The distributor today announced it has inked a contract with Pcysys, whose machine-based penetration testing platform is designed to offer round-the-clock vulnerability monitoring.

This enables resellers to offer comprehensive, machine-based penetration testing to their clients at a lower cost, without the need to upskill in-house, Cloud Distribution claimed.

"With so many resellers and integrators lacking the in-house resource to conduct multiple pen tests, Pcysys' technology is perfectly aligned with our vision to ensure resellers are able to meet market needs and provide best in class solutions to cyber security challenges as part of a product, or managed service," said Cloud Distribution sales and marketing director Adam Davison.

Pcysys will sit within Cloud's Cyber Security Solutions team.

According to Crunchbase, Israel-based Pcysys has raised $4.5m in funding since it was founded in 2015.

Pcysys CEO Amitai Ratzon, said: "With cyber-attacks becoming more advanced and frequent, Cloud's Cyber Security division and its network of security specialist resellers have a vast understanding of the cyber-landscape and acknowledge the need to introduce automated penetration testing to minimise risk and mitigate threats."
