Cisco partner boss Angela Whitty joins CRN Women in Channel judging panel

'There is a huge amount of talent out there' in the UK channel, says latest CRN WiC judging addition

Cisco's UK partner boss Angela Whitty is the latest luminary to join the judging panel for CRN's inaugural Women in Channel awards.

To be held on 18 October in central London, the WiC awards will recognise the achievements of the UK IT channel's talented female executives and employees. The full list of categories can be viewed here.

Whitty joins a judging panel that also includes the likes of BT Business Direct's Helen Slinger and Insight's Emma de Sousa, Dell's Sarah Shields and HP's Neil Sawyer. The full line-up can be viewed here.

Whitty said: "After a career in the technology industry spanning 25 years, for a company that has allowed me to balance a successful career with being a hands on mum, it's amazing to be part of a panel recognising the next generation of women in the IT partner space! I have the pleasure of working with many women in the partner, reseller and distribution community, so I know there is a huge amount of talent out there!"
