Fast-growing Total moves into new digs

Kettering-based VAR looking to double managed services revenue streams

Kettering-based reseller Total Computers is aiming to double the size of its managed services business after moving into new headquarters.

The new digs, which have 40 per cent more ‘productive space', will support planned expansion as well as delivering operational benefits, according to the firm, which recently topped the £65m revenue barrier and has seen sales rise five-fold since 2010.

"We last increased head office space in 2013 and in that time our turnover has more than doubled, with headcount not far behind that," said Aidan Groom, managing director of Total.

"It provides the space to support our continued growth, with 40 per cent more productive space for a relatively modest rent increase," added Groom. "Over the last few years we've built a successful managed services operation, that clearly has strong customer appeal, and I expect this to more than double in size during the next year."

Based in the former offices of a local newspaper publisher, the office will be used as a facility to host both customer and partner events, Groom said. The location of Total's warehouse remains unchanged.
