Irish services firm makes second acquisition in four months as it approaches £105m revenue
Deal continues 'aggressive' M&A strategy
Irish reseller Version 1 has completed its second acquisition in four months, snapping up Dublin-based analytics firm Presidion.
Version 1 raised €90m (£80m) in funding last year from London investment firm Volpi, with plans to accelerate its international growth plans.
The firm said that Presidion is a leading advanced analytics solutions and services provider, with thousands of customers.
Tom O'Connor, CEO of Version 1, said: "This acquisition brings a team with advanced data analytics expertise to help our customers to drive evidence-based decisions.
"Version 1 is leading the way in digital transformation and this latest acquisition further consolidates our position as a market leader in digital services in the UK and Ireland.
"Together we can provide excellent services and solutions across the full spectrum of digital services and advanced data analytics.
"We are excited about the opportunity to help customers build a competitive advantage and achieve significant business benefits."
Presidion will become part of Version 1's digital services portfolio, and its CEO Pierre Baviera will oversee the integration of the two companies.
The acquisition is Version 1's ninth deal, and comes after it snapped up London-based HR specialist Cedar Consulting in June.
Presidion CEO Pierre Baviera said: "[Presidion is] a company which shares the same values as we do, including putting our customers first and driving customer success.
"We see the acquisition as being hugely positive in enabling our growth ambitions, helping to accelerate innovation in the expert analytics space and bringing advanced data analytics expertise to Version 1's existing customers."
