Printerland on target to smash £50m revenue barrier

Reseller's managed print division expected to be driving force behind future business growth

Printerland claims it is on course to hit a turnover record of £50m for its financial 2019.

The Manchester-based VAR has reported a revenue of £44m for its 2018 fiscal year, which was an increase of 19 per cent on the £36.9m it reported in its financial year ending 31 March 2017.

The print and consumables reseller claims that this revenue growth has been steered by "significant expansion" in its managed print division, which it expects will drive the overall business growth in the next financial year.

Printerland - which was ranked 82 in CRN's Top VARs 2017 - has also seen its workforce grow over the past 12 months, in order to support its growing managed print division.

James Kight, MD at Printerland (pictured with the Sales Sharks), claimed that the company's success is due to its adaptability to the changing landscape.

"Our aim is to exceed £1m of revenue per employee, and we are doing this by investing more than ever in our internal ERP, CRM and ecommerce systems," he stated.

"This is to improve our online presence and provide our ever-expanding client base with the best possible service.

"As well as staying on the cutting edge of tech, we recognise the importance of nurturing existing relationships. It is this balance which has driven such significant growth, and is sure to bring further success in the coming years."
