Resellers chosen for £50m networking framework

PCM, Softcat and Stone among 15 suppliers selected for higher education procurement vehicle

A host of resellers have been selected for a higher education public sector framework worth £50m.

The Higher Education - Supply and Services Framework went live last month and runs until the end of September 2020, with the potential to extend for a further two years.

Resellers including CAE, DTP, PCM and Softcat have been awarded a spot across the framework's four lots (a full list of suppliers can be found below).

According to the framework agreement, Lot 1 is for networking equipment, Lot 2 for small to medium-sized projects, Lot 3 for large projects and Lot 4 for consultancy. Lot 4 is not open to suppliers with places on the first three lots.

The framework is governed by the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium.

Lot 1 is expected to be the most lucrative of the four lots and is estimated to be worth £22.5m.

The two project lots are estimated to be worth £16.5m and £15.5m respectively, with the consultancy lot worth £500,000.
