Exclusive: Nutanix appoints Arrow as UK distributor

Existing European agreement expanded into new region

Nutanix has appointed Arrow as its UK distributor, expanding a relationship that already covers parts of mainland Europe.

The pair took their relationship into France and Benelux earlier this year, adding to an existing arrangement that was already in place in Spain, Portugal and the Nordics.

Nutanix EMEA channel director Jan Ursi said: "Arrow is an important player in the channel. The collaboration with Nutanix is well positioned within Arrow's extensive value-added service offering and is complementary to existing vendors on the distributor's current line card.

"A true solutions provider, Arrow has tremendous expertise and a strong focus on networks and datacentre. Arrow's industry knowledge, portfolio of converged infrastructures and highly integrated, software-defined next-generation datacentres will be, in particular, of great benefit to our collaboration."

Nutanix already has existing relationships with distributors in the UK, including Exclusive Networks' BigTec and Tech Data, according to the distributors' websites.

Arrow's UK VP of enterprise computing Mark McHale added: "Converged and hyperconverged solutions have fundamentally changed the way that the modern datacentre is designed, offering scalable platforms for the demands driven in terms of scalability and management.

"They combine sophisticated compute, storage and software layers resulting in much greater efficiency. Nutanix is a key player in this market and we look forward to expanding our collaboration."
