Computacenter plucked as official partner for AWS Well-Architected scheme
Framework allows partners to help customers build and deploy cloud-native architectures
Computacenter has been chosen by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to be an official partner of its Well-Architected Framework.
The programme is based on five pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimisation.
The scheme is designed to help users build a secure, high-performance and efficient infrastructure for their applications, and allows authorised partners to review and remediate their customers' workloads through a consistent and repeatable AWS framework.
Computacenter joins Claranet and KCOM on the list of global partners selected to join the programme.
The IT services giant said that customers will learn how to develop Well-Architected applications related to the five pillars from its experienced AWS architects.
Kevin Stavers, director for platform and hybrid IT at Computacenter, said the company is excited to be recognised as an official AWS Well-Architected partner.
"As AWS continues to rapidly evolve its technologies, it is essential that partners such as Computacenter continue to invest in the skills to ensure our customers have the capabilities to optimise their cloud estates when available," he said.
"Through this partnership, we can ensure customers are deploying their applications in a way that utilises the most up-to-date services, tools training and guidance to build and deploy cloud-native architectures, understand and mitigate risks and make informed decisions better and faster than ever before."
