MSP duo merge, citing IT-comms convergence
T-Tech and Ladybird Communications says union will create one-stop-shop for Microsoft Teams solution
MSPs T-Tech and Ladybird Communications have joined forces, citing convergence between their respective IT and comms stomping grounds.
London-based Microsoft Gold partner T-Tech has acquired Ladybird, which is based in Newmarket in Suffolk and specialises in telecoms services, for an undisclosed sum. Ladybird will operate as a standalone division of T-Tech Group.
The duo say the merger will enable their SME customers to source a full Microsoft Teams solution from one provider.
T-Tech managing director Daniel Teacher said he and Ladybird's Melvyn Bird (pictured, left and right, respectively) had worked together for "many years".
"We hear frequently that customers would like one provider to manage their needs, therefore the continued merging of technologies makes this development a natural step forward," he said.
"We have some very exciting product announcements in January and look forward to sharing these publicly. Our new relationship with Ladybird is a key part of this strategy."
Bird, who is head of telecoms, Ladybird, added: "Having worked with T-Tech for many years, this is a natural fit and we are excited about our future. I will remain in post as ‘head of telecoms' and work closely with T-Tech to develop our team and infrastructure into a best in class provider."
