CRN and Computing launch Women in Tech Festival
One-day event will bring together women from across tech end-user and supplier community
CRN and sister publication Computing are proud to unveil Women in Tech Festival UK 2019.
Taking place at The Brewery in London on 17 September, Women in Tech Festival UK will bring together women from across the technology world, from suppliers to end users.
The one-day event will provide insight on topics such as how to overcome imposter syndrome, presenting a professional you, mentoring, building a successful team, and how to attract more females into the industry.
It's no secret that the technology industry suffers a diversity problem. Walk into any mainstream tech event and you could probably count the number of women on your hand.
The same goes for boardrooms, with many companies still struggling to promote women into senior roles.
How best to break this status quo - at a time when the winds of change are blowing through wider society and a new generation is entering the workforce - has been the central theme of CRN's Women in Channel and Computing's Women in IT Excellence campaigns over the past two years.
Building on this success, CRN and Computing are together creating a network to enable women at end users and tech suppliers to share their experiences and advice.
Whether you're an apprentice, a manager, a woman, or a man - you have a part to play in helping to tackle the gender diversity deficit, and we hope to see you there.
