G-Cloud 11 application process to start next week

Updated: suppliers must submit applications by the middle of May

The application process for G-Cloud 11 will start on Monday, Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has revealed.

CCS sent out a tweet today confirming that it will open the eleventh iteration of the framework on 25 March.

No other specific dates for G-Cloud 11 have been revealed, but the CCS procurement pipeline website said that its expected award date is July 2019 (a full timetable can be found below).

Public sector consultancy Advice Cloud told CRN it suspects that G-Cloud 11 will be a re-run of G-Cloud 10, as no market engagement has been carried out.

This would mean that suppliers will be able to update pricing and new suppliers can join.

Emina Demiri-Watson of Advice Cloud said: "We are pleased that CCS has continued with releasing new iterations annually. The tech market changes so quickly.

"This is a chance for new innovative companies, particularly SMEs, to join the framework.

"It is also a brilliant opportunity for existing suppliers to make positive changes to their listings and to add new products. It's all hands on deck here at Advice Cloud."
