Jersey-based MSP acquires in Canada
Calligo makes third Canadian takeover
Jersey-based managed security provider (MSP) Calligo has acquired Canadian counterpart Connected Technologies.
The deal is Calligo's third Canadian acquisition in three years, following its 2017 acquisition of 3 Peaks and 2018 takeover of Mico Systems.
Ontario-based Connected Technologies is an Azure and Office 365 partner with 200 customers, according to Calligo.
Calligo CEO Julian Box said: "We are very excited about what the acquisition of Connected Technologies means for Calligo in Canada and internationally.
"This acquisition was the result of obvious synergies between our two organisations - strong company cultures, a shared focus on customer centricity and a hunger for innovation.
"Adding Connected Technologies' experience and skills to our already substantial team makes Calligo one of the largest IT managed services providers serving the Greater Toronto area by both client numbers and team headcount."
MSP Calligo offers a range of data, privacy and cloud infrastructure services. The firm has raised $22.6m (£17.2m) in funding, according to Crunchbase.
