'Phenomenal' growth drives HQ move for Manchester VAR

Expansion driven by a number of private and public sector wins, MD says

Manchester-based Cetus Solutions is moving its head office due to the "phenomenal" growth it has experienced in recent years.

The VAR's HQ has been located in Salford Quays for 12 years, but its move later this month will see it take up residence across the River Irwell at Cobra Court in Trafford Park.

Cetus Solutions, which was founded in 2001, specialises in digital workspace, cloud and security solutions and counts Microsoft, Citrix, Dell, VMware and NetApp among its partners.

Its growth has been attributed to winning a number of large tenders in the public and private sectors, and it has seen its headcount swell to over 60 in the last few years.

The new open-plan office measures 6,040 square feet and has been refurbished and redesigned to suit Cetus' requirements.

The new building has been named The Quadrant, keeping in line with Cetus' own starry brand, as the constellation Cetus resides in the first quadrant of the Southern Hemisphere.

"The relocation of our operation to Cobra Court is the culmination of an exciting year for us in 2018," stated Mike English, managing director.

"Cetus continues to go from strength to strength and has experienced enormous growth over the last few years.

"To support this growth, and to plan for the future, it was imperative that we move to larger more modern premises, which is an exciting progressive development for us."
