T-Systems opens new London HQ in post-Brexit support for UK

German giant set for further expansion later this year

German giant T-Systems has opened a new London headquarters in a move which it says demonstrates its post-Brexit support for the UK.

The new office - in Rathbone place, Fitzrovia - was opened by T-Systems global CEO Adel A-Saleh.

The Deutsche Telekom subsidiary said that the base will showcase new digital and cloud technologies.

Alison Dodd, managing director at T-Systems UK, said: "We are delighted to be opening our new UK headquarters in London. At a time of political uncertainty, we hope this office opening will serve us a reminder of T-Systems' continual investment into the UK&I economy and its world-leading technology talent pool.

"Despite the political landscape, customers will also be looking for partners that can help them with new ways to drive innovation and efficiencies for their business.

"That is exactly what T-Systems has been doing for over 18 years in the UK and Ireland."

Dodd stepped into her current role in October, having previously held senior roles at Microsoft and BSkyB.

Alongside the new London HQ, T-Systems said it plans to open a new Milton Keynes office in May. The two new sites add to the firm's existing bases in Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester and Ireland.
