WATCH: Exertis' Tim Griffin on how it plans to take on bigger US rivals
Exertis' group managing director also talks up Asian expansion plans
Exertis held its annual Plug In partner event last week, in the illustrious surrounds of Silverstone race track.
During his keynote presentation, UK MD Paul Bryan gave the assembled crowd a rundown on the distie's most recent financial results - which saw it hit £3.6bn - as well as the successful integration of recent acquisitions in the UK.
Exertis (and other leading European players such as Swiss-German ALSO and Italian Esprinet) may be a fraction of the size of the US broadliners (see graphs below).
But Exertis is on a bold international expansion drive under new group managing director Tim Griffin. In the video, we talked to Griffin about how the broadliner plans to differentiate itself in the US market against bigger competitors Tech Data and Ingram Micro.
The group MD also touches upon where Exertis currently stands in its process to expand into APAC and its recent acquisitions of European VADs Com-Tech and Amacom.
