Novosco grows HQ after £107m NHS win

Northern Irish MSP looks to boost headcount to 300

Managed services provider Novosco has increased by nearly one half the size of its Belfast HQ in the wake of a landmark NHS win.

The new 5,000 sq ft of office space will provide a base for the team working on its £107m, seven-year contract with Cambridge University Hospitals Trust, won last summer.

The new office space is on the floor below Novosco's existing 11,000 sq ft facility overlooking Belfast's Titanic Quarter.

Novosco bills itself as an "indigenous IT success story" in Northern Ireland, and also has offices in Dublin and Daresbury. Its clients include two Premier League football clubs, Irish universities and "many" of Northern Ireland's top 100 firms.

The new space will enable Novosco to swell headcount from 220 to 300

"Increasing our footprint in Belfast is another important landmark in Novosco's growth and will enable us to continue to expand our team, adding significant value to the local economy," said managing director, Patrick McAliskey, one of Novosco's two founders alongside John Lennon (pictured above, right, with client director Ellen Dickson and programme manager David Neeson).

The office enlargement is part of a £20m expansion project announced last year.
