Acquisitive MSP SysGroup seals second deal of the year
SysGroup builds on acquisition of £8m-revenue Certus earlier in the year
Acquisitive managed service provider SysGroup has made its second acquisition of the year and eighth overall.
The latest deal sees the MSP acquire managed connectivity and colocation solutions provider Hub Network Services (HNS) for £1.45m.
The acquisition follows SysGroup's deal for £8m-revenue Dell EMC Gold partner Certus, which was announced at the start of the year.
SysGroup CEO Adam Binks said: "The acquisition of HNS further complements our existing managed services, enabling us to offer our customer base an even wider range of enterprise-grade managed connectivity services alongside our existing managed IT services portfolio.
"As SysGroup continues to grow, we're excited by the prospects that lie ahead on our journey to become the leading provider of manged IT services to businesses in the UK, and the addition of the HNS team to the group is a big step forward on that journey.
"Through this time of growth, we're committed to ensuring that our enlarged customer base continues to receive exceptional levels of service and support as well access to our best-of-breed solutions."
Earlier this year publicly listed SysGroup secured an additional £10m in funding to continue its M&A spree, having now acquired eight companies over the last five years.
HNS offers colocation services from datacentres in Bristol, London, Manchester and Newport, as well as in Amsterdam and New York.
