Five reasons to enter the Channel Awards
Below we explain why it is worth entering the longest-running awards in the channel
With the 12 July deadline fast approaching, many people will be wondering if it is worth them submitting an entry to the Channel Awards 2019.
In short, the answer is, yes it is.
Below we give five reasons why you should put a metaphorical pen to paper and shout about your company's achievements for the year by submitting an entry (or two).
- A Channel Award is a recognised benchmark for quality - with a 26-year pedigree and known to many as the ‘Channel Oscars', previous winners have said taking home a trophy has really made a difference to their business and helped them stand out above the competition.
- It is one of the only truly independent awards in the industry - the judging panel is comprised of industry analysts and independent experts, along with representatives from the vendor, reseller and distributor world, all with years of experience in this industry. They judge on quality of entry alone and are not bothered about who spends what with CRN. See what some of them have to say here.
- The awards are open to every sized company from the big hitters to the newcomers. There is something for everyone to enter - whether this is the Rising Star category or a more specialist category. See categories here.
- What better way to reward your hardworking staff and loyal customers/partners? The Awards are near Christmas after all, and many attendees actually treat it as the start of Christmas. What better way to show your staff and partners/customers that you appreciate them by bringing them to the best party in the business?
- Everyone will be there - the networking opportunities are unparalleled. Looking round the room it is like a ‘who's who' of the IT channel and it is hard to walk anywhere without spotting a well-known industry face.
Oh, and here is one final reason to attend the awards: The aftershow party.
For those who have been to a Channel Awards aftershow party - the hangover takes on a new meaning as many are partying until around 5am. What happens at the aftershow party stays at the aftershow party, but it is definitely the stuff of legends.
