Three northern MSPs stack up to form £10m-revenue business

Pivotal Networks, PCI Services and SITS join forces

Three IT firms in the North-East have combined to form a new £10m-revenue MSP called TruStack.

Durham-based Pivotal Networks and PCI Services have joined with Sunderland-based SITS Group. All three count Microsoft, Cisco and Dell among their partners.

The three companies specialise in cloud computing, networking and unified comms, among other services, and operate across multiple sectors in the UK.

The directors of TruStack include Joe Olabode, MD of PCI; Paul Watson, MD of Pivotal; and Phil Cambers, founder of SITS Group; along with Richard Common, Russell Henderson and Geoff Hodgson.

The directors issued a statement outlining the rationale for the merger.

"There is clearly a very similar positive culture between all of the businesses," it read.

"It makes sense to merge and the joining of the businesses will, in turn, benefit our loyal and longstanding client base who will get access to an even wider pool of commercial, administrative and technical services.

"We have spent many months performing due diligence on all sides and we are delighted to announce this merger."
