Avanade acquires German Dynamics partner

Microsoft and Accenture entity buys up €12m firm

Avanade has acquired a Microsoft Dynamics partner in Germany as the firm continues to grow its international footprint.

Alnamic is a 100-employee-strong Microsoft Dynamics outfit based in Neuss, near Dusseldorf, but also has an office in Balingen near Stuttgart.

The firm turned over €12.43m (£11m) in 2018 and claims to specialise in Microsoft solutions for manufacturing, IoT, wholesale and distribution customers.

"Alnamic has a strong reputation as a premier client partner and a track record of success, especially in IoT and customized Dynamics 365-based technology solutions for the manufacturing, distribution and wholesale sectors," said Avanade's DACH general manager, Robert Goegele.

"Together Avanade and Alnamic will provide a solid footprint in Germany."

The firm's staff will join Avanade's business. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Avanade made a big splash in the DACH market in 2015, when it snapped up KCS.net, which it claimed at the time was one of Microsoft's largest ERP partners in the region.

The Microsoft and Accenture joint venture underwent a change of CEO this year. Pamela Maynard replaced Adam Warby in August.
